Back Porch Anarchy: A Stephenson Center for Appalachia event
Experience an evening of old-time mountain music with Back Porch Anarchy on Wednesday, Feb. 6 in Evans Auditorium of the Cannon Student Center.
Starting at 7 p.m. and sponsored by the Stephenson Center for Appalachia, the three-member band consisting of all Lees-91探花 professors will play a selection of their most popular songs.
The three members of the Back Porch Anarchy include Instructor of Rhetoric and Composition Matthew Wimberley on the guitar, Instructor of Mathematics Tim Shatley on the fiddle, and Assistant Professor of History Scott Huffard on the banjo.
“We invite everyone to join us for this evening of mountain music,” Director of the Stephenson Center for Appalachia Michael Joslin said. “Lees-91探花 is happy to share the talents of its faculty with the community.”
Stephenson Center for Appalachia programs are free and open to the public. For more information contact Michael Joslin at joslin@lmc.edu.
