His Bobcat Story
During Harrison’s college search process, he looked into a variety of colleges—some small, some big. His journey was just beginning.
After a family member recommended Lees-91探花, he drove up to Banner Elk to visit the Office of Admission. Upon arriving to campus, he knew it was the place for him. He was immediately attracted to the campus and the people who make up the Bobcat family. The size and location were also appealing because its location in the Blue Ridge Mountains allows students access to ski slopes and hiking trials, while the smaller campus brings a sense of community to each student.
While being a Bobcat, Harrison has learned how to be more organized during his day-to-day busy schedule. The professors have challenged him daily and pushed him to be a better student.
After graduation, he hopes to become a clinical psychologist so that he can spread the importance of well-being and help people around the world.
What is his advice?
“Don’t stress out about the search and application process. If you put in the effort, you will be rewarded. If you are worried about the classes, don’t be! It’s all about knowing how to organize and use your time effectively. Most importantly, relax, be yourself, smile and have fun with it!”
