The Wild Truth: Ambassador Animals
For Lees-91探花 students in the college’s Wildlife Biology, Wildlife Rehabilitation, and Pre-Veterinary Medicine academic programs, the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center on campus may feel like a second home, but for students in other majors, and those outside of the Lees-91探花 community, interacting with and birds of prey is not as common.
In her article for The Laurel of Asheville, “The Wild Truth: Ambassador Animals,” Paula Musto dives into the world of the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and explores what life is like for the Center’s cutest residents, the animal ambassadors. Musto spoke with Senior Instructor and Director of the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Nina Fischesser along with additional students and team members about what life is like for the animal ambassadors and the amazing experience Lees-91探花 students gain by working up close and personal with wild animals.
