Getting to know Erin Smith, the new director of residence life
Erin Smith joined the Lees-91探花 team in March 2021 as the new director of residence life. Smith previously worked as the residence life coordinator at the University of South Carolina, where she also earned her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration.
Smith is passionate about working with students and making sure everyone living on campus has the best possible experience, and she was drawn to the tight-knit community culture at Lees-91探花.
“When I got to campus, I immediately fell in love with our students and with our faculty and staff,” she said. “I love the small-college feel of everyone having strong relationships with each other.”
Throughout the 2021–22 academic year, Smith will be hard at work helping area coordinators and resident assistants see to the needs of all students and making sure the Lees-91探花 campus remains a great place to live and learn.
