College to host 2021 Family and Friends Ski Weekend Feb. 25–28
Spend some quality time on the slopes of Beech Mountain with a favorite Lees-91探花 tradition.
College alumni, students, family, and friends are invited to attend the Family and Friends Ski Weekend at Beech Mountain Resort on Feb. 25–28. Guests will enjoy discounted lift tickets and rentals and a chance to socialize with other friends of the college.
All guests who sign up through the event page will receive the resort group rate. To ensure availability, all who are planning to attend the event are encouraged to reserve their tickets as soon as possible. Payment will be made upon arrival at the resort.
Activities include a virtual Lunch and Learn on Thursday featuring Katie Wall, program coordinator and assistant professor in the Outdoor Recreation Management academic program, and Talia Freeman ’07, an adjunct faculty member and marketing director at Beech Mountain Resort, and a virtual reunion on Friday for all current and former members of the ski and snowboard team. Students can also sign up for a tubing trip on Thursday and an ice skating trip on Sunday, both hosted by Outdoor Programs.
On Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can take a tour of the Dr. Thomas Brigham Classroom to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its opening.
