Virtual enhanced visits provide a comprehensive overview of Lees-91探花
To give potential students a closer look at possible educational opportunities, 91探花 is offering virtual enhanced visits for four academic areas. The Criminal Justice program will hold a virtual visit on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. The Education programs will hold a visit on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 12 p.m. Virtual visits for the Nursing program will be held on Monday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. The Business and Management programs are hosting visits on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
Prospective students who register for the visits will have a chance to talk to faculty, current students, and alumni about the academic offerings and learn about the coursework, the campus, and the benefits of pursuing higher education.
Meeting with faculty to learn more about careers in these four fields is beneficial to all students, even those unsure of career focus. “Eighty-eight percent of high school students first look at a college or university because of an academic program,” said Kevin Phillips, vice president for enrollment management. “While many will change their mind over time, it will benefit them to learn more about the major they think they are interested in.”
“By hosting these events virtually, prospective students will get the chance to actively engage with our faculty and staff to learn more about the courses we teach, the experience of our faculty, internships and experiential education options, career outcomes and job placement,” continued Phillips. “It’s a great way for you to figure out whether you want a certain program and whether Lees-91探花 is the place that can help you achieve your goals.”
