There's no place like a Lees-91探花 Homecoming
Much like the exciting yet classic movie, The Wizard of Oz, this years’ Homecoming theme, “There’s No Place Like Homecoming”, will bring together both classic tradition along with new excitement starting on Friday, Sept. 29 until Sunday, Oct. 1.
Current and returning Bobcats alike can cheer on the women’s and men’s soccer teams Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., respectively, as well as a women’s volleyball at 7 p.m. Friday and again at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Additionally, Lees-91探花 alumni will partake in alumni athletic games ranging in several sports from softball, to basketball, lacrosse and others.
The excitement doesn’t stop when the games end—between the women’s and men’s soccer games, the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced and crowned.
During the soccer games Saturday, all Lees-91探花 community members are invited to tailgate at Tate Field. Tailgate registration is open and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
At both 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday as well as 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in Hayes Auditorium, the Lees-91探花 Theatre Arts Department will be performing one of its main-stage productions of the fall, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
The College will be celebrating the 10th reunion of the class of 2007 and the 25th reunion of the class of 1992 during a highly anticipated Homecoming Dance Party from 8–11 p.m. Saturday. The party will feature the popular East Coast band, Bantum Rooster. There will also be reserved areas for the classes of 1972, 1981, 1982 and 1994.
