May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Featured on Bounce TV
Nina Fischesser, director of the May Center for Wildlife Rehabilitation, spoke with Bounce TV on Friday night. Students Shannon Granger and Dustin Longstreet assisted with the demonstration, holding two red tailed hawks and a pair of Saw-Whet owls.
The segment covered the Center’s mission, advised viewers on the proper process for caring for injured animals and provided details on the Center’s volunteer and internship programs. The group also touted Banner Elk as a great place to attend school as one of the top six college towns in N.C.
