Lees-91探花 Hosts Winter Coat and Canned Food Drive this November
Leading into the holiday season, Lees-91探花 is holding two events to help area families. The Nursing and Health Sciences CLA-199 students are collecting winter gear for Hospitality House and the Avery County YMCA, and the Staff Association is sponsoring a canned food drive for Feeding Avery Families.
If you have new or gently-used coats, hats, scarves and gloves, please drop by the following locations to donate:
Please bring any canned food items to the Alumni House, Carson Library, Registrar’s Office, Business Affairs Office, Student Development Office, May School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Education, Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Communication Arts (NC 25), or Bowman Building (downstairs). Items needed include:

- Infant girls (0-24 months): Collection box located in the Cannon Student Center
- Infant boys (0-24 Months): Collection box located in the Chaffee Building
- Toddler girls (2T-5T): Collection box located in the Library
- Toddler boys (2T-5T): Collection box located in the Library
- School-age girls (Small-XL): Collection box located outside of Wily’s
- School-age boys (Small-XL): Collection box located outside of Wily’s
- Adult men (S-XXL): Collection boxes located in the Library and the Athletic Complex
- Adult women (S-XXL): Collection box located on first floor of Bowman Science Building
- Adult men & women (S-XXL): Collection box located outside Wily’s by the Avery Hall entrance

- Fruit and vegetable juice (100% juice preferred)
- Dry milk (instant non-fat)
